The
Neighbor's barking dog can be a real nuisance and very irritating. Our

Your neighbor's dog may be irritating them as much as it is irritating
you. They may be wanting to stop the barking, but just don't know
what to do. Your neighbor may be open to any help you could offer.
Many people love their pets very much and would get defensive if someone
is being critical of their best friend. They will defend their dog
much like parents do their children even when they know they are
wrong. So we need to be diplomatic when addressing this problem.
Some neighbors will know that their dog is being a nuisance, but they
just don't care. In fact they are entertained that you may be
upset about the barking. In this case it is up to you to cure your
neighbor's dog barking problem. Hopefully without confrontations.
You could call the police and complain, but the results may not be as
good as you would like. Some of the times the police will talk to
the neighbor and try to get them to stop the barking dog. Much of
the time the police are of little help, because this problem is pretty
low on their priority list. They really do have bigger problems to deal
with.
You could get a lawyer and file a suite against your neighbor. The courts
could fine the owner, cause him to get rid of the dog or have the
dog debarked. If you decide to go this direction you may not be
too happy with these results either. For one this can be a very
expensive process for you and the neighbor. Your relation with the
neighbor may become very hostile. If the neighbor is a little off
center he may become violent.

The automatic
Super Bark-Free
anti-barking device has two settings, ultrasonic and audible.
When set to ultrasonic it will NOT be heard by humans.
Humans can hear the audible setting loud and clear.
Both settings are effective at deterring dogs from barking.
When a large dog barks within 50 to 60 feet of this device it
will respond by blasting the offending dog with a strong ultrasonic
blast of 120 dB. Smaller dogs will need to be closer to active it. This blast can be
effective for over 100 ft if placed in a line of sight to the dog and
there is little or no foliage to buffer the sound waves, but the
limiting factor is weather or not the microphone detects the dog's bark
or not. This
level of sound is about the noise level as if a fire truck were to pass
by you as you stood preparing to cross a street.
The
Super Bark Free device can be set so humans cannot
hear it. The sound is
emitted for a few seconds past the time the barking stops, and then resets
itself waiting for the next bark.
It can be set to allow 1,2,3 or 4 barks before it is set off.
This allow a dog to bark a time or two before it is blasted. The
Super Bark-Free is for outdoors
use only it is too loud for indoors or containment use. It
is weather resistance not water proof.
