At its strongest setting, Yardgard covers an oval area
approximately 60 feet wide by 65 feet long - about the size of a city lot.
Buildings and shrubs may block the sounds. Aim the Yard Team Ultimate at
the infested area, at the level of the animals to be repelled. For lawns
and areas with low shrubbery, place the unit one to three feet above the
ground. For areas with heavy foliage, place the unit five to eight feet
above the ground, aiming it slightly downward.
Yard Team Ultimate complete, includes one weatherproof unit, a built
in motion sensor, 110vAC power adapter and cord. The unit also can
operate on 4 'C' batteries if needed. The infrared eye works only in
battery mode. To prolong battery life the unit fires a 15 second
round of the ultrasound towards target . Then the unit stops and
resets itself. In DC mode battery life can range from 3-6 months.
Continual operation (AC Power) the unit is constantly firing ultrasonic
waves . If the power fails unit automatically switches to battery
power to ensure constant protection. |
