This unit has variable frequency settings. For Cats and Dogs use the lowest silent pitch frequency you can. Older animals and some breeds of cats can not hear well. Adjust it so it is still silent, but as close to audible range as possible.
Larger animals respond best to low pitch frequencies. You may need to use the audible settings for larger animals like deer, horses, pig and such..
Small animals such as mice and rats respond to the higher pitch frequencies.
This unit has two response settings. For most animals set it to go off only if they come within it’s electronic eye zone. The zone is about 15-20 feet out and a
80 degree fans shape. For rodents set it to the continuous output setting.
It is Electronic, motion-sensing, ultrasonic/sonic property guard. Powered 2 ways: battery powered (4 C-batteries not included) or use the AC adapter (included).
