The best way to treat a spider bite is by preventing
it. Here are a few things that can help minimize getting bitten.
Electronic pest control device work only marginally
well for spiders, but the main thing they do is drive insect away,
which reduces the food supply for spiders.
Do not store books or boxes alone the
baseboards or in the corners of a room.
This give spiders a great place to hide and live.
Furniture should have a little clearance behind and below for
ventilation to reduce the likelihood of insects and spiders making it
their home. You should vacuum under and around furniture, window and
walls sucking up webs, eggs and maybe even tiny spiders.
The electronic pest control devices are most
effective in the room where they are placed.
I like to have one in my bedroom near the bed for maximum effect.
Always shake you clothes before putting them
on. This gives the spider a
chance to get away from you. They
like to hide under clothing or in shoes.
Just make a habit of shaking you clothes or turning you shoes over
and tapping them a time or two insuring that they are clear of spiders or
bugs.
Using a bed spread to cover your bed when not
is use is a very good idea, but remove it and inspect the bed before
retiring at night. This
method was use centuries ago to reduce the presents of
fleas and bedbugs. The
servants would beat on the bed to drive everything away, then they would
lay a clean white bedspread over it.
The white cloth would attract the fleas and bugs making them easy
to see. Just before the royalty would go to bed the servants would quickly
remove the bed spread and carry the pest outside.
Use a broom keep the spider webs swept away.
This discourages the spiders by reducing there food collect
ability.

is a handy dandy little tool for that purpose.
